Oneonta High graduate Rebecca Harder earned an equestrian national title Sunday in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Championships at Harrisburg, Pa.

Sophomore Emily Jweid earned Second Team recognition, and Kate Purcell and Caroline Stanford each were named honorable mention selections on the Empire 8 Conference all-star team.

Two-out hits lift OHS past Owego
Zach King's two-out single drove in Chris Pindar with the go-ahead run in the seventh inning as visiting Oneonta High defeated Owego, 3-2, Monday in a Southern Tier Athletic Conference baseball game.

Cooperstown softball moves to 13-0
Jennifer Flynn and Alannah Haggerty had four hits and two RBIs apiece, and Christina Noto had three hits and four RBIs to lead visiting Cooperstown to a 15-1 softball victory over Sherburne-Earlville in the Center State Conference on Monday.

During this 12-1 start to the season for Oneonta High's softball team, two things have become clear: Brieanna Baker can pitch and the Yellowjackets' lineup can hit.

Oneonta State's men won five individual titles and one relay crown during the SUNY Athletic Conference Track and Field Championships, which ran Friday and Saturday at Cortland State.

Pindar homers, but OHS falls short
Chris Pindar hit his third home run of the season, but a late rally by Oneonta High fell short in an 11-10 Southern Tier Athletic Conference baseball loss to visiting Chenango Forks on Friday.
