WOMEN'S SOCCER

Delhi 5, North Country 1

Delhi graduate Eva-Rae Andrews had a goal to pace SUNY Delhi to a victory on the road.

Kaitlin Culpepper (Oneonta) and Sara Kuebler (Walton) each contributed assists for the Broncos (1-2). Chelsea Johnson had a goal and an assist and Hannah Parker Carver contributed a goal and an assist for Delhi.

Andrews also scored in a 5-3 loss to Jamestown on Sunday.

Cooperstown graduate Mack Curran made 11 saves, but visiting SUNY Cobleskill (1-2) lost a non-conference game on the road.

George Sullivan scored with about 20 minutes remaining in regulation for the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts .

North Country 3, Delhi 0

Carlos Zuniga had two goals and an assist as North Country scored on three of its four shots in a home win over SUNY Delhi (0-4).

FIELD HOCKEY

O-State 1, Union 0

Ainsley Stoll scored off a penalty corner with 6 minutes, 4 seconds remaining to give host Oneonta State a non-conference win.

The Red Dragons (3-0) have won their first three games since 1994, when O-State began the season 4-0.

Leslie Dauphinais made nine saves to earn the shutout for Oneonta.

RPI 2, Hartwick 1, OT

Mackenzie Chapman made a college-high 16 saves, but Hartwick lost a non-conference game in overtime.

Amanda Barton scored in the first half to give the Hawks (1-2) an early lead.

WOMEN'S TENNIS

Delhi 7, Hudson Valley 0

Lindsey DelVeccio improved to 3-0 this season with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Chelsea Antanasio at first singles as host SUNY Delhi cruised to a Mountain Valley Conference victory.

If DelVeccio wins her singles match Monday against Mohawk Valley, she'll earn the MVC championship, Delhi coach Charles Mole said.

Cora Dooley, Aiko Shigetaka, Natalee Geier and Patricia Anthony also won singles matches for the Broncos (1-2).

DelVeccio was also named Delhi's female athlete of the week Wednesday. Cross-country runner Chris Burnett earned the men's award.
