Defending Section Four Class D champion Milford improved to 7-1 with a 2-0 Tri-Valley League girls soccer victory over visiting Laurens on Tuesday.
Avalon Ward scored two goals and the Wildcats did not permit a shot or a corner kick while taking 15 shots and five corners.
Francesca Green set up Ward's first goal. She found Ward from 12 yards with 15 minutes left in the first half.
A minute into the second half, Ward beat a defender before scoring.
Milford travels to West Division-leading Morris on Thursday.

First-half goals by Alyssa Turner and Mikayla Bookhout lifted host Schenevus to a Tri-Valley League victory.
Turner scored at the 27:47 mark and Bookhout made it 2-0 after intercepting a goal kick and scoring from the right side with 13:58 left in the first half.
Jordan Beers scored with eight minutes left for Franklin.
"She was the one who was the biggest threat," Schenevus coach Chris Kaltenbach said of Beers, a sophomore coming off back-to-back four-goal games. "She did a nice job."
Taylor Spranger stopped 13 shots for the Dragons (9-1-1, 6-1-1), who travel to Gilbertsville-Mount Upton on Thursday.

Doherty capped the scoring on a penalty kick after being taken down in the penalty box.
