8. Content that is harmful to children and minors in any way.
9. References to any type of sexual activity and other private matters.
10. Random and inflammatory statements that are off topic.
11. Advertising of any kind.
12. Typing in all caps.

WE ENCOURAGE REASONABLE AND COURTEOUS COMMENTS THAT:

1. Create conversation on issues of interest and concern to fellow readers and local community members.
2. Express opinions and contrarian views.
3. Stimulate debate with respectful language.

Hall to display All-Star artifacts

Those visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame during Induction Weekend will have the chance to see several artifacts the Cooperstown shrine collected from Tuesday's All-Star Game at Kansas City, along with others from the first half of the Major League Baseball season.

Beginning July 20 _ the first day of Hall of Fame Weekend, which is highlighted by the enshrinement of Barry Larkin and Ron Santo on July 22 _ the Hall will display:

"¢ The bat used by San Francisco's Pablo Sandoval on his three-run triple in the first inning of the All-Star game;"¢ Atlanta Braves third baseman Chipper Jones' bat for his sixth-inning single, along with his hat from Tuesday's game;"¢ Detroit Tigers prospect Nick Castellanos' bat from his MVP performance during Sunday's Future's Game;"¢ Giants pitcher Matt Cain's hat and spikes from his June 13 perfect game against the Houston Astros;"¢ The Reds' Joey Votto's bat that he used on a three-run walkoff home run on May 13;"¢ The bat used by the Rangers' Josh Hamilton during his four-homer game May 8;"¢ Jered Weaver's jersey and a game ball from his May 2 no-hitter for the Angels.
