Conwicke-Stock Invitational

Oneonta High's boys won the small-school division team title in the Conwicke-Stock Invitational hosted by Union-Endicott on Saturday.

Levi Anderson led the Yellowjackets with an overall finish (large and small schools combined) of 11th. He completed the 2.9-mile course in 17 minutes, 1 second. OHS finished with 243 points to easily beat runner-up Chenango Valley, which had 337.

John Gell and Wembo Tiapo finished 46th and 55th, respectively, for OHS. Gell finished in 18:17 _ 13 seconds ahead of Tiapo.

Oneonta's girls finished third among small schools with 201 points. Skaneateles won at 110.

Kim Scofield's 29th-place finish paced the Yellowjackets. She finished in 21:27 _ 13 seconds ahead of teammate Erin Mushtare, who finished 33rd.

Oneonta will compete in the Loyal D. Greenman Invitational next Saturday at Ely Park Golf Course in Binghamton.

Harpursville's Josh Gaudette (19:14) and Miranda Drummond (22:06) led their respective boys and girls cross country teams to victory with course-record times Friday. Afton received second-place finishes from Jack Hillenbrand (19:22) in the boys race and Daphne Knapp (23:08) in the girls event.
