Bullis leads B-G volleyball to win

Staff Report

Morgan Bullis had 25 kills Friday to lead host Bainbridge-Guilford to a 25-20, 25-27, 25-18, 19-25, 25-18 volleyball victory over Oxford in the Midstate Athletic Conference.

Rachel Smith contributed 14 assists for the Bobcats (4-1), who visit Sidney on Tuesday.

Mariah Bullock paced Oxford (4-1) with six aces.

Harpursville 3, Delhi 0

Erin Avery amassed 39 assists and teammate Stephanie Knapp had 26 as Harpursville (5-0) cruised to a 25-19, 25-19, 25-13 MAC win on the road.

Bonnie Davis’ four kills and 15 digs paced Delhi (1-4), which travels to Oxford on Tuesday.

Hancock 3, Afton 2

Demi Travis amassed seven aces, nine kills and five digs to lead host Hancock to a 19-25, 25-21, 20-25, 25-18, 25-22 victory in the Midstate Athletic Conference on Thursday.

Alissa Young contributed six aces for the Wildcats (2-3), who are at Walton on Tuesday.

Bekah Prezorski had six aces and 10 digs for Afton (0-5), which received six kills, seven assists and eight digs from Alisha Hubbard.

The Crimson Knights host Deposit on Tuesday.

GOLF

Windsor 219, Oneonta 225

Mitchel Couch and Justin Cavea shot 43s to lead Oneonta in a Southern Tier Athletic Conference loss at home.

Joe Sherrill contributed a 45 on the par-36 front nine of the Oneonta Country Club for the Jackets, who visit Susquehanna Valley on Monday.

SWIMMING

CV 106, Oneonta 70

Erin Bischoff and Lucy Bischoff earned first-place finishes for Oneonta in a STAC loss at Chenango Valley.

Erin Bischoff won the 200-yard individual medley in 2 minutes, 37.80 seconds. Lucy Bischoff took first in the 100 backstroke (1:12.01).

OHS hosts Binghamton on Tuesday.

GIRLS TENNIS

Elmira ND 3, Delhi 2

Sarah Clark and Joelle Favret won at first and second singles, respectively, but Delhi lost a non-league match to Elmira Notre Dame at Bainbridge-Guilford.

Delhi (1-1) visits Sidney on Monday.
