Staff Report
Three Bainbridge-Guilford girls scored 15 points or better, but the Bobcats fell, 68-63 in double-overtime, to the host school in the final of the Sherburne-Earlville Tournament on Saturday.
Randi Conway scored a team-high 19 points, Corrine Riegel had 17, and Chelsi Rosa contributed 15 points and 19 rebounds.
Riegel hit two free throws with 3.4 seconds left in the first overtime to tie the score at 61.
But S-E sisters Bridget and Kristi Vibbard combined to score 10 points in both overtimes. Caitlynn Adams scored a game-high 30 points, including nine in the fourth quarter when the Marauders made up a nine-point deficit.
Of the 5-foot-4 Rosa's 19 rebounds, B-G coach Bob Conway said: "She's just a scrapper. I was totally shocked when I saw how many rebounds she had. She just really worked her butt off."
On Friday, Conway hit four three-pointers on the way to a game-high 20 points for Bainbridge-Guilford, which earned a 46-26 win over Unadilla Valley in the first round.
Rosa contributed 14 points for the Bobcats (2-2), who travel to Walton on Tuesday.

Harpursville 74, Sidney 70
Sidney senior Danielle Gravel scored her varsity high of 40 points Friday and couldn't even claim game-high scoring honors for herself.
Harpursville's Kimmel cousins combined for 68 points, including 40 from Hannah, as the visiting Hornets earned a non-division victory in the Midstate Athletic Conference.
Gravel made 10 of Sidney's 12 three-pointers. Four of Gravel's threes came in the fourth quarter, when the Warriors tied the score at 63 on a three-pointer by Lyndsay Delello.
But Hannah Kimmel capped her night by hitting two free throws with three seconds left to seal it. Kimmel finished 14-for-17 from the line. Alycia Kimmel hit all four of Harpursville's three-pointers.
Asked if Harpursville did anything special defensively on Gravel, first-year Sidney coach Brad Aldrich said: "It certainly didn't seem like it. Hannah Kimmel was on her for awhile, but then they switched to a 2-3 zone in the fourth quarter. (Gravel) was fairly open when she was shooting."
According to the New York State Public High School Athletic Association's website, Gravel's 10 threes in a game are a Section Four record. Stamford graduate Brooke Davis hit eight threes in a 69-16 victory over Jefferson on Jan. 5, 2000. Davis, who went on to play soccer at Oneonta State, is the only Section Four player listed for three-pointers made in a game.
Courtney Galuski of Cohoes made a state-record 15 threes in a game in 2008, according to NYSPHSAA website.
Aldrich couldn't confirm if Gravel's 40 points were a single-game school record.
Katelyn Philpott had 12 points and Delello finished with nine for Sidney (1-3), which plays at Oxford on Tuesday.
