Walton's Brennan Chambers set a school record in the 800 meters at the National Scholastic Indoor Championships at the Armory in New York City on Sunday.
Chambers finished second in his heat in 1 minute, 59.69 seconds. He finished 39th out of 82 runners.
He held the previous record, which he set last year.
Chambers was the top Section Four finisher in the event.
