Griffin Metzko scored twice Saturday, helping South Kortright to a 5-1 thumping of the host team in a Stamford Mayor's Cup semifinal at Archibald Field.
Ty Magnan, Trevor Holdridge and Jesse Boest also scored for the defending Section Four Class D champion Rams (2-0), who received two assists from Cody Burns and one from Dan Nelson.
"It was just a good team effort," said SK coach Bob VanValkenburgh, who got one save apiece from goalies Brandon Tuttle and Ray Anderson.
The Rams, who outshot Stamford, 25-3, advanced to the tournament championship game against Roxbury at 6 p.m. this Saturday.
VanValkenburgh also said today's boys and girls soccer games against Margaretville have been postponed as the Blue Devils continue to recover from the damage caused by Hurricane Irene last week.
Ryan Dianich scored for the Indians (1-1).

Spencer Hinkley also scored for the Rockets (2-0), who advanced to the final against Delaware League rival South Kortright at 6 p.m. this Saturday.
Dave Vosatka scored a second-half goal for the Dragons, who outshot Roxbury, 14-10.
Roxbury hosts Morris on Wednesday.

Davenport earned its second straight tie before losing another shootout in the Stamford Mayor's Cup as Laurens went 4-for-4 in the penalty-kick round to win it, 4-2.
Garrett Reynolds had a goal and two assists for the Wildcats (0-0-2), who tied Roxbury, 2-2, in the opening round Wednesday. Nate Moorby contributed a goal and an assist for Davenport, which received a goal from Kyle Moorby and finished with a 27-6 advantage in shots.
"We got outplayed for sure," Laurens coach Dave Miller said. "That's the great thing about soccer, though."
Jacob Nack had two goals for the Leopards (0-1-1), who received a goal and an assist from Pheonix Howard and 18 saves from David Fraser.
Miller said Laurens will play Worcester on Wednesday at a site to be determined.

Kim Freer had two goals and Erin Hull scored another for host Stamford, which maintained its 3-1 halftime lead to advance to the championship game in the Stamford Mayor's Cup.
Freer converted an assist by Naleah Meier 40 seconds into the semifinal, and Hull gave the Indians (2-0) a 2-0 lead with 2:32 gone. Freer capped Stamford's scoring in the 24th minute. Brittney Northrup then broke up the shutout bid with an unassisted goal.
Stamford will play Schenevus for the tournament title at 8 p.m. Saturday at Archibald Field.
