Oneonta High’s boys and girls swept Chenango Forks in a Southern Tier Athletic Conference bowling match Monday at Brandywine Bowl in Binghamton.
The Yellowjackets girls had a higher pinfall than the boys. During a 5-0 win over the Blue Devils, OHS had a 2,408 pinfall. Oneonta’s boys finished with a 2,231 pinfall in a 4-1 win.
The girls were led by Caryn Balnis, who had a match-high game of 224 and a match-high series of 556. Emily Loucks and Abigail Loucks had games of 205 and 187, respectively, as OHS improved to 2-0.
Mike Moran led OHS’ boys with 544 series that included a 214 game. Chris Hamilton contributed a 222 game and Tucker Tavarone rolled a 216.
The Yellowjackets’ boys are 1-1.
Oneonta will host Johnson City on Wednesday.
