The Oneonta Tigers were rained out Friday at Tri-City in the New York-Penn League.
Oneonta General Manager Andrew Weber said the makeup date is tentatively Aug. 1 at Tri-City. Oneonta visits Tri-City two more times this year _ Aug. 1 and Aug. 3.
The O-Tigers and ValleyCats (9-22) play three more games this weekend, beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday with the annual game during Hall of Fame Weekend at Doubleday Field in Cooperstown.
The teams then play a doubleheader at 6 p.m. Sunday at Damaschke Field.
Oneonta (18-13) leads the Stedler Division by a half-game over Vermont (19-15), which beat Lowell, 4-1, Friday night. Lowell (17-17) is in third place, trailing the O-Tigers by 2.5 games. Tri-City trails by nine games.
