Derek Joyce and Dan Kleeschulte scored two goals apiece to lead host Unatego to a 4-0 victory over Delhi in a Midstate Athletic Conference boys soccer game Tuesday.
The Spartans (2-0, 1-0) had a 2-0 lead before the game was three minutes old. Joyce scored on a breakaway after receiving a throughball from Jonathan Forte 50 seconds into play. A minute-and-a-half later, Brett Humphries sent a pass through to Kleeschulte, who scored on a breakaway.
"We're going to look pretty strong this year," Unatego coach Eric Miller said.
Alex White made 13 saves for the Spartans, two coming on breakaways. The Spartans host Afton on Thursday.

Bauerle's second-half goal made it 2-0.
Rick Parsons halved Afton's deficit later in the half off an assist from Mexican foreign exchange student Jorge Salinas, who scored twice in Afton's 3-2 loss to Walton on Monday.

Delaney opened the scoring at the 24:15 mark and finished his spree with 20:24 left in the first half.
"Greg was getting open, we were getting him the ball and he was doing good stuff with it," G-MU coach Mark Luettger said.
Jason Barrows contributed two goals in the second half.
The Raiders (2-0, 2-0) play Morris on Thursday.

The game was supposed to played at Franklin but was moved because Franklin's field was not playable.

Milford's Spencer O'Bryan scored the tying goal with about 12 minutes left in regulation as host Schenevus and Milford played to a draw in the Tri-Valley League.
Brett Smith and Jordan Colone also scored for the Wildcats.
Kevin Weinert, Dave Vosatka and Lance Fullington scored for Schenevus.
Dragons coach Jim Huntington said Milford keeper Parker Fish made three diving saves.
"It was like he had another hand," Huntington said.

After the teams played to a scoreless in the first half, the host Panthers scored three times in the first eight minutes of the second half to win in the Tri-Valley League.
Tanner Ray scored off an assist from Linton Wainright 2 1/2 minutes into the second half. Chris Simmons scored 1:20 later and Clayton Hawes made it 3-0 2 1/2 minutes later.
Justin Kucera, who played goalie in the first half, scored three times in the second half and Mark Johnson also had a goal.
