Ashley Morgan scored twice in the second half Friday, leading Oneonta State to a 4-1 field hockey victory over non-conference visitor Union College.
Samantha Smith opened the scoring with an unassisted goal in the ninth minute for the Red Dragons (11-6), who finished with advantages of 21-6 in shots and 15-3 in penalty corners.
After Union (7-9) tied it in the 17th minute, Ashley Johnson scored the go-ahead goal.
Johnson then assisted Morgan on back-to-back goals during penalty-corner plays in the second half.
The Red Dragons close their regular season at 3 p.m. Saturday against visiting Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Cobleskill 3, MCLA 1
Amber Baker had a match-high 12 kills, seven digs and four aces Thursday during SUNY Cobleskill’s 21-25, 26-24, 25-14, 25-22 non-conference home victory over Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (9-18).
Casey Holbert contributed 22 assists, seven digs and three kills for the Fighting Tigers (14-16), who received seven kills and five digs from Melissa Spears, and 14 digs from sophomore libero Kim Cordova (Oneonta High).
Cobleskill, which set a program record for victories since moving to the NCAA Division III level of competition in 2008, will finish its season at 7 p.m. Tuesday with a non-conference home match against Hartwick College.
