Adults need to set a good example
I am a parent of two football players ages 11 and 15. I just wanted to say how bothered I am with the way sports are conducted for our youth these days.
Unatego was at a football game tonight against Bainbridge and they showed such poor sportsmanship through their announcer toward our team. I felt sad for the children and what they are being taught.
Also, Walton was at Greene a few weeks ago and Greene’s announcer did same thing. I just feel that we are to lead by example and to have adults teaching children this way is just sad and uncalled for. It brings the children’s morale down and these representatives should be ashamed.
