Nikki Holdridge scored 12 of her game-high 20 points in the opening half of South Kortright's 46-24 Delaware League girls basketball victory at Stamford on Thursday.
"We were trying to take the middle away and she was shooting from the outside and shooting well," Stamford coach Lonnie Nickerson said of Holdridge, who made two of her three three-pointers in the first half as SK took a 29-13 lead.
Renee Craft and Robin Ward had eight and seven points, respectively, for the Rams (12-0), who improved to 10-0 in conference.
Marlana Hinkley led the Indians with nine points.
Stamford (4-9) travels to Edmeston on Tuesday.

Senior Sam Meyerhoff scored a game-high 18 points and Kate Swantak contributed 13 to lead the Wildcats' Delaware League road victory.
"We went in trying to stop Meyerhoff and the rest of their girls stepped up in the first half," Roxbury coach Tom Sherwood said of half that ended with the Rockets trailing, 35-6.
Lauren Hotaling, Katie Brown and Brittany Chase had six points apiece for Davenport (10-2, 7-1).
Jenna Johnston had seven points for Roxbury (1-12, 1-10), which plays host to Gilboa on Feb. 2.

{"Sports agate regular"/}Mariah Ruff finished with 21 points, 10 steals, nine rebounds and a 4-for-4 show at the free throw line to lead the visiting Mountaineers in the Delaware League.
Karli Tait, who had 12 points, also went 4-for-4 from the line for Andes (6-5, 4-4), which finished 14-for-17.
Maureen Pesciotta had 12 points and 12 rebounds, and Denise Warren finished with 10 points for Hunter-Tannersville (3-8, 3-6), which hosts Cherry Valley-Springfield tonight.

Mt. Markham 65, Cooperstown 58
Half of sophomore Jeff Flynn's team-high 16 points came in the fourth quarter, when host Cooperstown narrowed a 13-point deficit to four, but the Redskins got no closer.
Cooperstown (7-6) fell to 3-3 in the Center State Conference.
"Everyone keeps saying you're young," said Cooperstown coach Dave Bertram, who played four sophomores the entire fourth quarter. "The other coach said after the game you're young and you're going to be good next year. I don't want to be good next year, I want to be good this year.
"We're right there," he continued. "Every single game we've lost has been by six points or fewer. We've had an opportunity to win every game, we're just not getting over the hump."
Kyle Liner and Michael Moakler contributed 10 points apiece for the Redskins, who host Waterville at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Unatego 43, Sidney 22
Unatego coach Vince Ruggiero went 1-1 on the day.
He watched his Spartans improve to 4-3 in the Midstate Athletic Conference and then had his daughter shave his head after the match.
"I said if we won five matches I'd do it," Ruggiero said of an agreement he had with his team to shave his head. "We're 4-3 and I told them a tournament would count. We won the Cuneen-Doane (in Walton), so the hair is gone. I've never been bald. It feels different."
Jake Jones and Dylan Barber earned pins for Unatego.
Jones pinned Austin Scott in 4:58 at 152 pounds and Barber needed 1:52 to pin Aeden Parsons at 215.
The Spartans (4-3) also received a 2-1 victory from Codie Nichols over Nicholas Jump at 135. Jump escaped in the second period for a 1-0 lead before Nichols answered with a takedown to make it 2-1.
Aaron Charles had a pin for Sidney, which along with Unatego will compete in the MAC Championships on Saturday at Delhi.

It was Senior Night for the Storm, who completed their dual meet season. Senior Dylan Aikins won his final match at home by pin over Gabe Sikorski in 1:09 at 145. Classmate Tyler Peet won by forfeit.

Afton/Bainbridge-Guilford/Harpursville/Sidney coach Kevin Dietenbacher said his team ended Greene's 47- or 48-match winning streak in the Midstate Athletic Conference.
The Trojans needed to place 1-2 in the match-ending 400-yard free relay to forge the tie.
A/B-G/H/S' Kevin Bullis swam season-best times in winning the 50 free (25.29 seconds) and the 100 breaststroke (1:15.22). Bullis also swam legs on his team's winning 200 medley and 200 free relay teams.
Kurt Rogler contributed victories in the 100 free (1:00.15) and the 100 backstroke (1:11.25), and swam on both winning relays.
A/B-G/H/S (4-5-1) is 3-2-1 in conference.
Both teams will compete in the MAC Championships a week from today at Greene.

David Bonderoff set a school record in the 200-yard individual medley and helped Coopestown's 200 free relay team to a school mark during the visiting Redskins' Midstate Athletic Conference win.
Bonderoff won the 200 IM in 2:18.11, nearly a second faster than the previous record. He joined Will Reis, Caleb Edmonds and Todd Mayton on the relay that touched in 1:41.53, which beat the previous record of 1:41.89.
Mayton contributed victories in the 50 free (24.61) and the 100 free (54.27).
Cooperstown finished the regular season at 5-4. It will compete in the MAC Championships a week from today at Greene.

Dan Hodne rolled a personal-best 693 series to lead host Oneonta High to a 5-0 boys sweep of Windsor in the Southern Tier Athletic Conference.
Hodne's series included a match-high 254 in his last game, which followed a 212 and a 227.
"In terms of a strike ball, he's probably got the best one on the whole team," said OHS coach Pat Muller, whose boys improved to 7-6. "He's been sort of inconsistent this year, but he was pretty consistent today."
Joey Balnis and Cameron Critti contributed a 214 and a 213, respectively.
Stephanie Rathbun's 577 series included games of 222 and 216 to pace Oneonta's girls in a 4-1 win. Caryn Balnis had a 185 for Oneonta's girls (9-4).
OHS travels to Plaza Lanes on Jan. 29 for a STAC match against host Norwich.
