Hartwick won two women's water polo games Sunday at Bucknell University's Bison Invite, extending its winning streak to seven.
The 16th-ranked Hawks followed a 19-5 thumping of Siena with a 15-9 won over the host team to improve to 9-3 this season.
Kamila Zakirova, Sami Capparelli, Laura Kuzma, Jemma Dendy Young and Kanani Mazzone each scored twice against Siena, which also allowed goals to Megan Clampitt, Cayley Tonkin, Sasha Freeborn, Lily Martinez, Alyssa Analytis, Lara Dendy Young, Lisa Bass, Kylie Traube and Lyndsy Knapp.
Hartwick converted the first 11 goals and kept the Saints scoreless until 5 minutes, 53 seconds remained in the third quarter.
Dendy Young's five goals paced Hartwick against Bucknell. Hartwick went on a four-goal run for a 6-1 lead in the first quarter, en route to an 8-4 advantage at halftime. Bass contributed four goals, Freeborn scored three times, and Caparelli, Analytis and Shannon Leonard had one goal apiece.
On Saturday, Hartwick edged Wagner, 14-13, and beat Marist, 13-9.
Analytis and Zakirova each had three goals against Wagner, which gave up two goals apiece to Freeborn and Bass. Freeborn's second goal came with 1:38 left and gave Hartwick a 14-12 lead. The Seahawks scored with 41 seconds to go, but Hartwick held on.
Against Marist, Leonard and Zakirova each had three goals, and Bass and Freeborn scored two more apiece. Two goals by Leonard and another from Zakirova gave Hartwick a 12-7 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
Hartwick will host Brown University at 8 p.m. Friday.
Indoor Track
Region III Championships
SUNY Delhi's men and women earned NJCAA Region III titles Friday at Rochester Institute of Technology.
The Broncos' men, led by two titles apiece from Bainbridge-Guilford graduate Chris Burnett and Andre Adkins, won their third straight regional crown with 208 points. Mohawk Valley placed second with 122 points.
Tiyi Boone won three championships for Delhi's women, who finished with 161 points to beat Mohawk Valley by five for the team title.
Burnett won the mile in 4:29.40 and the 1,000 meters in 2:37.27. Adkins won the 60 hurdles in 8.94 and cleared 14 feet, 2 inches to win the pole vault.
Unadilla Valley graduate Tyler Foulds earned a title in the 20-pound weight throw, covering 46-0.75.
Delhi's men also received victories from James Cowell (400, 53.27); Ian Kowalchuk (500, 1:07.78); Dylan Lowry (800, 1:57.46); Brian Majecstic (high jump, 6-2); and Brandon Bordeau (shot put, 47-3). The Broncos won three relays as well, the 1,600 (3:34.35), the 3,200 (8:37.97) and the distance medley (10:53.64).
Boone placed first in the high jump (5-4), the long jump (18-2) and the triple jump (38-7). Delhi coach Justin Wood said all of those distances rank in the top five nationally.
The Broncos' 1,600 and 3,200 women's relays also won, with times of 4:26.04 and 10:48.72, respectively.
The NJCAA meet is March 2-3 at Eastern Illinois University.
RIT Invitational
SUNY Cobleskill received program records from its men's 1,600 relay team and Africa Harper on Saturday during the Orange & Black Invitational at Rochester Institute of Technology.
Miguel Paulino, Grantley McLeod, Javant'e Coley and Melique Garcia finished third in the 1,600 relay in 3:34.52, which broke the school record and qualified the quartet for the Eastern College Athletic Conference indoor track championships.
Harper lowered the school record she set last week in the 200, crossing in 26.49 to place second.
The Fighting Tigers will compete in the New York State College Track Conference Indoor Championships on Friday and Saturday at Hamilton College.
NYU Team Challenge
Oneonta State's men finished second out of nine teams and its women placed sixth out of 11 on Saturday at the NYU Team Challenge in New York City.
Junior Chris Harvey set a men's program record in the 3,000 with a second-place finish of 8:39.94. Freshman Nick Perugini broke his school record in the pole vault at 13-5.25.
Sophomore Jermaine Miller, who competed in the SUNYAC Swimming and Diving Championships last week, won the 60 hurdles in a SUNYAC-qualifying time of 8.59 seconds.
O-State's women received a school record from freshman Kenya Outram, who placed fifth in the 60 hurdles in an ECAC-qualifying time of 9.45 seconds.
Senior Lauren Brunetto contributed a fifth with a 2:15.43 in the Elite 800, a race that featured three Elite Club runners and two Division I athletes.
The Red Dragons will compete at the SUNYAC Championships Sunday at Hobart & William Smith Colleges.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Cobleskill 61, Cazenovia 57
Chelcy Moore had 18 points, 19 rebounds and four steals to lead visiting Cobleskill to a victory Saturday as the Fighting Tigers clinched a spot in the North Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament.
Moore made two free throws with 7 seconds left to cap the scoring for the Fighting Tigers (14-11, 10-7), who received 11 points from Heidi Anderson and 10 from Yasmeen Hernandez.
South Kortright graduate Courtenay Chambers missed two shots for Cazenovia (5-19, 4-13).
Cobleskill earned the No. 3 seed in the North Division for the NEAC Tournament and will visit No. 2 Keuka (16-5, 14-3) for a first-round game at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Sidney graduate Danielle Gravel is a sophomore guard for the Storm and leads the team in scoring (13.8 points per game) and three-pointers (44-for-129).
SWIMMING
NEAC Championships
Erin Rynn won two individual events and helped SUNY Cobleskill's women to three relay records during the North Eastern Athletic Conference Swimming Championships, which ran Friday through Sunday at Cazenovia.
Rynn placed first in the 400 individual medley (5:33.94) and the 1,650 free (20:43.20). She also started program-record victories in the 200 free relay (1:50.89), the 400 free relay (4:02.96) and the 800 free relay (9:13.40), the last of which stands as a NEAC record.
Sarah Duger, Jamie Cooley and Audrey Harper joined Rynn in second-place finishes in the 200 and 400 free relays. Rynn, Duger and Cooley were anchored by Jessa Pacatte in the 800 free relay.
Harper also set a program record in the 50 free, winning in 26.78 seconds.
Cooley won the 200 free in 2:14.24 for the Fighting Tigers, who scored 399 points to finish fourth in the five-team championships.
Wells won at 460.5 points, Cazenovia placed second at 421.5 and Gallaudet was third at 404.
The College of Saint Elizabeth had 262 points for last place.
Grant Brekke received NEAC Rookie of the Year honors in men's swimming after winning the 100 breaststroke (1:07.56) and helping Cobleskill's 800 free relay team to a third-place finish in a program-record time of 8:12.46. Brekke joined Connor Worden, Todd Kaurtz and Austin Collins in the 800 free relay.
Worden contributed a victory in the 200 butterfly (2:24.17) for Cobleskill, which had 399 points to finish last among four teams.
Gallaudet won with 580.5 points, followed by Wells (481) and Cazenovia (326.5).
