Kyle Jaquay and Isiah Montgomery had 18 points each as Cherry Valley-Springfield's boys basketball team won its fourth straight Tri-Valley East Division title with a 68-38 road win over Worcester on Wednesday.
Wyatt Crowley hit a three-point shot at the buzzer to give the Patriots an 11-6 lead after one quarter.
"We were right in it before that shot," Worcester coach Jim Kenyon said. "He hit that shot at the buzzer, and it took the wind out of my guys' sails and really got (CV-S) going."
Montgomery had 12 of his 18 points in the second half.
"We had no answer for Montgomery," Kenyon said. "He had six baskets in second half and I think they were all off of offensive rebounds. I just had no one who could match up with him. And Jaquay is very good penetrating off the dribble and scoring."
CV-S will play Morris in the Tri-Valley League crossover Feb. 18 at Oneonta State. The game is a rematch of the 2010 championship, which Morris won, 39-30.
CV-S won last year's league final, beating Edmeston, 48-31.
