O-State to host 'Play4Kay' game

Oneonta State's women's basketball team will play Oswego State at 6 p.m. Friday in a "Play4Kay" initiative that raises awareness and funds for cancer research.

It is named in honor of Kay Yow, former women's basketball coach at North Carolina State, who died from breast cancer Jan. 24, 2009. Yow was first diagnosed with the disease in 1987.

The Red Dragons are asking all in attendance to wear pink. O-State will warm up in pink T-shirts. There will be a table where fans can make donations to benefit the Kay Yow WBCA Cancer fund.
