COMMENTING ON STORIES:

Sidney Legion falls on road

Sidney's Legion baseball team scored three times in the first inning, but Binghamton Post 1645 rallied for an 8-4 victory Monday night at Conlon Field.

Jon Wingate hit an RBI triple and Andy Kozak had an RBI double as Sidney jumped to a 3-0 lead in the first.

But Binghamton scored once in the first and then took the lead with a four-run third inning that included a two-run homer by Jake Loew.

Wingate finished 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Sidney (3-2), which hosts Oxford/Norwich at 6 p.m. Thursday at Unatego.
