A woman critically injured in a fire last week in Central Bridge has died, Schoharie County deputies said, and an investigation into the blaze continues.
Kelly G. Finn, 46, was removed after a search from the structure at 3240 State Route 7 on Tuesday, deputies said, and she had minor burns and suffered from smoke inhalation.
Finn of Howes Cave died at the hospital in Syracuse on Wednesday, according to an obituary.
The Central Bridge Fire Department had mutual aid from Schoharie, Cobleskill, Richmondville and Esperance crews in responding to the 8:43 a.m. Tuesday call.
Finn initially was taken to Cobleskill Regional Hospital, then flown by helicopter to Upstate Regional Medical Center in Syracuse, deputies said.
Deputies said investigators await results from laboratory tests.
