A former Oneonta resident was arrested Monday following a joint narcotics investigation between the Otsego deputies and Oneonta police.
Tammy Lynn Hotaling, 37, of Morris, was arrested for third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a class B felony, deputies said in a media release.
In July, cocaine was purchased from Hotaling, a convicted felon, in the city of Oneonta, deputies. She was indicted on the charge in August by a grand jury. She was arrested following release from the Oneida County jail on Monday after she served a 90-day sentence on a petit larceny charge, deputies said.
She was held until she could be arraigned Tuesday by Judge Brian D. Burns. Hotaling was jailed on $25,000 bail returnable in October in Otsego County Court. She faces up to 12 years in prison on the charge if convicted because of previous felony conviction, deputies said.
