COOPERSTOWN -- A 24-year-old Montgomery County man was arrested at Bassett Medical Center on Wednesday after he allegedly punched a male nurse in the hospital's emergency room, village police reported. Robert Prevost of Fort Plain was charged with second-degree attempted assault following the incident late Wednesday morning.
Police said Prevost had gone to the emergency room for treatment, which could not be identified because of medical confidentiality rules.
Prevost was ordered held without bail at Otsego County Correctional Facility.
