Verizon: Contractor error caused service disruptions
Cellphone customers of Verizon Wireless in the Oneonta area experienced spotty coverage as a result of an error made by a contractor working on an antenna last Friday, a company spokesman said Monday.
John O'Malley, the spokesman for the company, said technicians were repairing the antenna, and full coverage is expected to be available today.
He said he had no information on the number of customers whose service was affected.
