A local resident and two other men have been arrested on felony drug charges in connection with a Jan. 25 investigation by Chenango County Sheriff’s Office narcotics detectives, a media release said.
Christopher L. Joy, 44, of the town of Norwich, was charged was third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony, after he allegedly sold crack cocaine to an undercover police officer in the town of Norwich, deputies said. Joy also was charged with first-degree criminal nuisance, a felony, for maintaining premises for the purpose of engaging in the unlawful sale of controlled substances, the release said. He was arraigned in Plymouth Town Court and sent to Chenango County jail on $50,000 cash bail.
The release reported other arrests, including:
• Jabon J. Walker, 24, of New York City, on third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, heroin. After arraignment in Plymouth Town Court, he was sent to jail on $25,000 cash bail.
• Martin P. Kincaid, 29, of Utica, two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, crack cocaine and heroin. He was arraigned in the Plymouth Town Court and sen to jail on $25,000 cash bail.
Deputies seized heroin, crack cocaine and marijuana during the investigation.
