---- — Otsego County Rep. James Powers, R-Butternuts, plans to meet with constituents Saturday to listen their views on natural gas drilling and hydraulic fracturing.
Powers represents Butternuts, Morris and Pittsfield on the Otsego County Board of Representatives.
Late last month, a group of Butternuts area residents had planned to meet with Powers to discuss their concerns about drilling and "fracking," but Powers said he was unsure a meeting was being held until it was over.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. at the Butternuts Town Hall.
