---- — A local man is accused of stealing two checks and cashing them, Oneonta city police said.
Cody L. Clapper, 23, of Oneonta, was charged Oct. 16 with second-degree forgery, a felony, and petit larceny, a misdemeanor, police said. He is accused of writing stolen checks to himself in the amounts of $200 and $160.
