More charges filed in alleged burglary ring
Three area residents being held in Otsego County jail face additional charges in connection with a burglary ring, state police at Sidney said.
James F. Amatuccio, 35, of Unadilla, Daniel F. McEwan, 25, of Guilford, and Nicole L. Luna, 27, of Sidney, were charged Wednesday with multiple counts of second-degree burglary of a dwelling, a media report from state police at Sidney said.
The three defendants already were in jail, held on burglary charges in connection with thefts of jewelry, which was pawned, troopers said, and they were sent back to jail.
The Wednesday arrests pertained to incidents reported in May in Sidney, Bainbridge and Guilford, the report said.
