Crews set to repair water main break
ONEONTA — Department of Public Service crews will repair a water main break in front of 243 Chestnut St. today, a media release said, and traffic will be limited to one lane during work.
Water service may be interrupted temporarily between North Fonda Avenue and Lewis Avenue, including Telford and Thorn streets and Lewis Avenue. Residents in these areas will be informed directly through the city’s automated telephone notification system, the release said.
