Man faces felony theft charges

A Coventry man was charged with felony theft, Chenango County deputies said in a media release Wednesday.

Robert K. Robertson III, 25, was charged Tuesday with third-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, both felonies, deputies said.

He was accused of having a stolen debit card and making fraudulent withdrawals from a bank account.

Robertson was arraigned in Oxford Town Court and sent to Chenango County jail on $5,000 bail, pending appearance in Greene Village Court at a later date.
