---- — Laurens to flush
hydrants in village
The Laurens Water Department will flush hydrants Tuesday in the village in cooperation with the Laurens Fire Department.
Village residents may notice discolored water while the hydrants are being flushed. Discoloration that persists into the following day should be reported to Jerry Wenck, water superintendent, by calling 432-3903.
“We apologize for the inconvenience, but it’s a necessary precaution to keep our water system clean and operable,” Wenck wrote in a media release.
Parking regs to
resume in city
Enforcement of parking regulations in the Dietz Street parking lot and the parking garage will resume Monday, according to a media release from the City of Oneonta.
The regulations were suspended while construction was under way in both facilities. The projects are complete, and signs have been reinstalled, detailing parking restrictions in each facility.
