The Oneonta Common Council tonight will consider approving documents pertaining to projects for the airport and the Dietz Street parking lot.
The council will meet in chambers in City Hall at 7 p.m.
A mayor's hearing will be held for an ordinance to amend zoning code to allow the Board of Public Service to issue demolition orders without site plan review and approval.
In regard to the city airport, the council will consider a motion to authorize the mayor to submit a grant request and execute documents with the Federal Aviation Administration and the state for an FAA project.
Funding for the proposed project for drainage and soil stabilization totals $204,872 with the city's share of $10,244 to be reimbursed by Clough Harbor, according to the city Finance Committee.
The council will consider awarding a bid from Dow Electric Inc. of Malone in the amount of $593,041 for the Dietz Street Parking Lot Redevelopment and Green Infrastructure Project. A resolution to issue bonds of $570,000 toward project costs also will be considered.
