---- — The search for a new Walton Central School superintendent was recently re-opened, accord to a media release from the Delaware-Chenango-Madison-Otsego Board of Cooperative Education Services.
The search is being headed by DCMO BOCES Superintendent William Tammaro. The position is being filled by interim Superintendent George Mack. He referred questions about the situation to Tammaro, who could not be reached when called late Tuesday afternoon.
A permanent replacement for Thomas Austin, who retired in August, was expected to be named in February. Applications in the new search are being accepted until April 5.
