Cattle truck flips in New Berlin
NEW BERLIN — A cattle truck flipped over on state Route 8 in south New Berlin late Wednesday, killing 11 of the 34 head of cattle being transported, New Berlin Police Chief Dominick Commesso said.
Commesso said it took several hours to clean up, and veterinarians were called in to treat injured cattle.
The mishap happened while roads were slippery from Wednesday night’s storm.
Besides traditional Memorial Day services this weekend, there will be several other events in the area.
