An Oneonta woman on the run for more than a week was arrested after being found in the basement of a city residence, Otsego County deputies said in a media release Sunday.
Marlee Ann Rickard, 35, was charged with fourth-degree conspiracy and first-degree criminal nuisance, felonies, in connection with a heroin-trafficking case, deputies said.
Deputies and Oneonta Police Department received tips Saturday afternoon that Rickard was at 501 Main St.
in the city. OPD officers Stacy Ferris and Kristen LaPointe went to the residence, where Ferris found Rickard hiding in the basement, the release said.
Rickard was taken into custody without incident on an outstanding felony warrant of arrest. She was arraigned before Oneonta City Judge Lucy Bernier and sent to county jail on $2,500 bail.
