Woman charged with oxycodone sale

A 20-year-old woman has been arrested and accused of selling oxycodone powder in Oneonta, according to the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office.

Tiffany Lynn Marshall, 20, of 42 Sunset Lane in Oneonta was arrested by sheriff’s deputies Friday evening.

She is accused in an indictment of selling oxycodone powder in Oneonta in September 2011. The indictment resulted from a joint investigation by the sheriff’s office and the Oneonta Police Department’s Detective Bureau, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.

It did not specify how much oxycodone Marshall is alleged to have sold.

Marshall was arraigned Monday morning on a charge of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree before Judge Brian Burns, who ordered her held in the Otsego County jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. If convicted she faces up to nine years in prison, according to the press release.
