12. Typing in all caps.

1. Create conversation on issues of interest and concern to fellow readers and local community members.
2. Express opinions and contrarian views.

Two accused of faking car theft

Two Worcester residents have been arrested in connection with a false report that a vehicle had been stolen, Otsego County deputies said.

Raymond K. Travis, 32, and Wilma E. Travis, 65, were arrested March 12, deputies said, and they were released on tickets to appear in court at a later date.

On March 11, Wilma Travis reported that her vehicle was stolen, deputies said, and an investigation revealed that the vehicle has been involved in an accident on Up Country Road in the town of Westford.

Wilma Travis was charged with third-degree falsely reporting for allegedly knowing her son, Raymond, had taken the vehicle and been involved in an accident, deputies said.

Raymond Travis was charged with sixth-degree conspiracy and many violations of vehicle and traffic law, deputies said.
