A tractor-trailer carrying watermelons overturned on Interstate 88 on Thursday morning, resulting in a closure of the highway in the city of Oneonta.
A truck driver from Canada was driving east at about 7 a.m. when his truck collided with a guard rail as he passed another rig, according to city police.
The crash happened between Exit 13 and Exit 14, and the driver was uninjured.
Both eastbound lanes were closed for a couple hours before one lane was reopened.
Traffic flow was fully restored by 12:40 p.m., according to city police.
