A Central Bridge woman was in critical but stable condition after a Tuesday morning fire, Schoharie County deputies said.
Kelly G. Finn, 46, was removed from the structure at 3240 state Route 7, Sheriff Anthony Desmond said.
She had minor burns and suffered from smoke inhalation, he said.
After being transported to Cobleskill Regional Hospital, she was taken by helicopter to Upstate Regional Medical Center in Syracuse, he said.
The initial call was received at 8:43 a.m., with the Central Bridge Fire Department receiving mutual aid from Schoharie, Cobleskill, Richmondville and Esperance fire departments, he said.
Firefighters located Finn during a search while fighting the blaze.
There was nobody else at the residence, he said, and the cause is still under investigation by county and state officials.
