Norwich man faces felony mischief charge
A Norwich man was charged Sunday with felony criminal mischief, Chenango County deputies said.
David Archambo, 44, was charged with second-degree criminal mischief for allegedly causing $1,900 worth of damage to another person's merchandise, deputies said in a media release.
He was arraigned in the Norwich Town Court and was sent to county jail on $1,000 cash bail, pending reappearance in court at a later date.
Main Street to be closed in East End
Main Street will be closed to through traffic between Rose Avenue and Reynolds Street today through Aug. 22 for water main work, according to a media release from the city.
Local residences and businesses will remain accessible, but it is recommended that through traffic use Interstate 88. For more information, call the city engineering department at 432-6465.
