Man arrested after 2-month drug investigation
A Bronx man was arrested Thursday following a two-month investigation by Otsego deputies and Oneonta police.
The arrest was part of an investigation into drug trafficking in the area, deputies said. Rafael Emileo Morales, 24, allegedly sold heroin April 13 in the town of Hartwick, deputies said.
He was arrested at the Otsego county jail by deputies, where he was being held on bail on an unrelated drug possession charge. He was arraigned in Hartwick Town Court and sent to jail on $25,000 bail. If convicted he faces up to nine years in jail, deputies said.
