Cuomo to visit Oneonta on Saturday

State attorney general and Democratic candidate for governor Andrew Cuomo is scheduled to appear at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at Foothills Performing Arts and Civic Center in Oneonta, according to an official with the county Democratic Committee.

The stop is part of his upstate campaign swing, and he will be meeting with the public and taking questions.

Schenevus man charged with sexual abuse

A Schenevus man was arrested Wednesday and charged with felony sexual abuse.

Scott J. Milford, 27, was allegedly involved in sexual contact with a child under the age of 11 in the town of Maryland, according to state police.

The alleged incident was reported to troopers Wednesday.

State police released no additional information.

Milford was sent to Otsego County jail on $5,000 bail/$10,000 bond pending further action in Maryland Town Court.
