State police arrested a Pennsylvania man Wednesday after he was found during a traffic stop to have more than an ounce and a half of cocaine and a loaded, stolen .45-caliber handgun, according to a new release.
Jose A. Ortiz-Perez, 39, of Allentown, was stopped by troopers from the Sidney station on Route 8 in the Town of Norwich, the media release said.
He was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
He arraigned in the Town of Norwich Court and held in the Chenango County jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail.
