Two SUNY Delhi students have been arrested by Delaware County deputies, one for allegedly selling marijuana and one for allegedly possessing it.
Shawn Pressly, 21, of the Bronx, was arrested Tuesday and accused of criminal sale of marijuana in the second degree after selling more than 4 ounces of marijuana in the Village of Delhi, the sheriff’s office said in a press release.
Teron A. Brown, 20, of Stroudsburg, Pa., also was arrested. He was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies said they seized nearly a pound of marijuana, digital scales, packaging material and approximately $1,800 from Pressly.
He was arraigned in the Delhi Town Court and remanded to the Delaware County jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
Delhi Village Police and SUNY Delhi University Police assisted with the investigation.
