The victim of a fatal one-car accident on Schenevus Road in Worcester on Thursday was identified Friday by state police as 19-year-old Dominique Travis, a 2011 graduate of Worcester Central School.
Police said she apparently lost control of the 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt sedan while she was driving home in early Thursday morning. Troopers said speed was a possible factor in the accident.
Travis was the daughter of Dennis W. Travis and Lisa E. Triolo-Travis, according to an obituary from the E.J. Skinner Co. Funeral Chapel in Worcester.
She was employed at The Center in Worcester as well as at the Karma Day Spa in Oneonta, where she worked as a nail technician.
