Blood drives set in honor of late doctor

Blood drives this week have been planned by Franklin community groups in the memory of Dr. Kenneth Stalter.

Stalter, who died of leukemia Jan. 18, was a beloved friend, neighbor, doctor, colleague, husband, father and son, organizers said, and with help from the American Red Cross three drives have been set, including:

Tuesday, from noon to 6 p.m. at the Delhi United Ministries. For an appointment, call 746-6922.

Thursday, from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Franklin Central School. For an appointment, call 829-3551.

Friday, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Ouleout Creek Golf Course, 13501 State Highway 357, in the dining hall. For an appointment, call 433-1682.
