The Plains at Parish Homestead in Oneonta has been recognized for its support of the Alzheimer's Association of Northeastern New York.
The Plains received the association's Community Advocate Award during an event Jan. 25, a media release said.
"The Plains at Parish has been a consistent supporter since their opening several years ago," David Gregoire, executive director of the Alzheimer's Association of Northeastern New York, said in a prepared statement.
The Plains at Parish holds a Mini-Walk to End Alzheimer's annually.
The Plains annual dance and ornament sales benefit the Alzheimer's Association, the release said, and plans are under way to open an Alzheimer's Café at The Plains at Parish later this month.
