Dietz Street lot to be closed
The Dietz Street parking lot in Oneonta will be closed Saturday for milling, according to a media release from the city. No vehicles will be allowed in the lot.
According to the release, parking restrictions in the municipal parking garage will be lifted during the ongoing redevelopment of the Dietz Street parking lot, which is scheduled to be completed in November. The lot may be closed intermittently during work, but city officials said every effort will be made to keep it open as much as possible.

Guilford offices to mark holiday
The Guilford Town Hall will be closed through Monday in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Normal business hours will resume Tuesday.
New Lisbon meetings planned
The New Lisbon Town Board will have its regular September monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the town hall in Garrattsville. The meeting is rescheduled from Sept. 11. A budget meeting is planned for 7:30 p.m. Sept. 25, followed by a work session.
The town planning board has canceled its September meeting, and will meet next at 8 p.m. Oct. 1. The meeting will include a training session on the State Environmental Quality Review Act.
