WALTON _ The last pickup of orthopedic equipment bound for Haitian relief will be Friday, Andrea Paternoster, spokeswoman for National Bank of Delaware County, said this week.
In the past three weeks, donors have contributed more than 300 pairs of crutches, 170 walkers, 120 canes, many therapy boots and braces and 18 artificial limbs. The last materials will be shipped early next week, she said.
