COOPERSTOWN _ In Otsego County Court on Wednesday before Judge John Lambert, Jacob S. Fink, 23, of Kerhonkson, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, heroin.
According to court records, the incident occurred Aug. 14, 2008, in the town of Worcester.
Fink was sentenced to two years in prison with one year of post-release supervision. His driver's license was suspended, and he was assessed $375 in court costs.
In Otsego County Court on Tuesday before Judge Carl Becker, Benjamin A. Parrella, 50, of Oneonta, pleaded innocent to charges of first-degree criminal contempt.
According to court records, the incident occurred Sept. 15 in the city of Oneonta.
He was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to reappear in court Dec. 24.
In Otsego County Court on Dec. 4 before Judge Brian Burns, Charles W. Zimmerman IV, 24, of Davenport, pleaded innocent at arraignment to two counts of third-degree burglary and two counts of third-degree criminal mischief.
According to court records, the incidents occurred June 2 in the towns of Maryland and Westford.
He is free after posting a $2,000 bond and is scheduled to return to court Jan. 8.
Also in court Dec. 4 before Burns, Shane A. Kane, 30, of New Berlin, pleaded innocent at arraignment to charges of aggravated criminal contempt and first-degree criminal contempt.
According to court records, the incidents occurred Aug. 30 in New Lisbon.
Kane was jailed in lieu of $20,000 bail and is scheduled to return to court Dec. 18.
In state Supreme Court of Otsego County on Dec. 4 before Justice Michael Coccoma, Amos Skinner, 31, of Bronx, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, cocaine.
According to court records, the incident occurred Dec. 27, 2007, in the city of Oneonta.
Skinner was sentenced as a second felony offender to four years in prison, with two years of post-release supervision. His driver's license was suspended, and he was assessed $375 in court fees.
In court Dec. 2 before Burns, Patricia L. Murphy, 44, of Oneonta, pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated.
According to court records, the incident occurred May 3 in Oneonta.
Murphy was sentenced to five years probation. She was fined $2,000, assessed $570 in court fees, and her driver's license was revoked.
