COOPERSTOWN _ In Otsego County Court on Monday before Judge John Lambert, Thomas J. Palmatier, 24, of South New Berlin, pleaded innocent at arraignment to a charge of first-degree sexual abuse.
According to court records, the incident occurred Aug. 1 and involved a 6-year-old girl.
Palmatier is free after posting a $3,000 bail bond, pending further court action.
On Nov. 23 before Lambert, Corey P. Tripp, 25, of Oneonta, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, cocaine.
According to court records, the incident occurred in the city of Oneonta in 2009.
Tripp was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison with one year of post-release supervision.
He was fined $1,500 and assessed $375 in court costs.
Also in court Nov. 23 before Lambert:
Eugene Lawton III, 34, of Amarillo, Texas, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and was sentenced to one year in jail.
According to court records, the incident occurred in the town of Worcester on March 11.
Michael J. Marzocco Jr., 49, of Pittsfield, pleaded innocent at arraignment to second-degree criminal possession of marijuana.
According to court records, he posted $2,500 bail and is due back in court Feb. 1.
